Ice climbing
When it's cold enough for the water to freeze, the mountain streams and resurgences that emerge from the rock eventually solidify.
Equipped with ice axes and climbing crampons, we can climb these magnificent draperies and columns sculpted by nature.
The guides are there to open the way to secret sensations!

For an introduction
The guides will introduce you to ice climbing.
Most of these activities are half-day sessions. During this introduction, you'll learn the basic techniques that are essential for climbing icy walls with greater ease.
They generally take place at two sites around Tignes.
The technical equipment is provided by the office, so all you have to do is get equipped to accompany us to these remote, secret and splendid corners of the world!
To find out more, our day trips
After a half-day introductory course, you'll be ready to climb icefalls adapted to your level, from beginner to advanced, with numerous sites available in the Vanoise massif. The ideal period is from December to March, subject to sustained cold conditions. Contact the office for details before booking.
