- Cancellation-Modification of activity
Mountain activities are subject to hazards linked to weather, snow and terrain conditions, visitor numbers, as well as the experience, technical ability and physical condition of the participants.
To ensure the safety of people and property, theActivity can be cancelled or modified by the Guides Office at any time prior to, at the beginning of or during the project.
A group outing may be cancelled if the number of participants is insufficient: registrants will be reimbursed but will not be entitled to any compensation.
The weather, snow conditions and the level of participants may mean that the programme has to be changed or cancelled: the management reserves the right to make such a decision without any right to compensation whatsoever.
If the activity is cancelled by the Guide Bureau, the sums paid will be refunded in full, without you being entitled to claim any compensation.
We cannot be held responsible for any adverse weather conditions. In the event of an activity being cancelled through no fault of our own (change in weather conditions, delay due to the ski lifts, cancellation on your part, etc.) no refund will be given until we have exhausted all options for rescheduling the activity. - If the customer wishes to postpone or change the date of the activity, this request will be considered subject to availability. However, a postponement cannot be guaranteed and will be subject to cancellation charges if rescheduling is not possible.
- The Bureau des Guides strongly recommends that its customers take out cancellation insurance with their insurance company to protect themselves against any financial losses.

A minimum level of physical fitness is required to take part in outings organised by the Guides Office.
The Customer must declare to the Bureau des Guides any health problem, medical history, one-off or long-term treatment, accident, likely to affect his/her physical or psychological health, as well as any particular apprehension (vertigo, history of accident, fears, etc.), which could affect the safety of the group and the activity itself.

- Fédération Française de Montagne et d'Escalade (offers insurance through membership of a club)
